Awesome!

My biggest problem is that I sit at a desk all day at work, and have no space to work out at home, as well as very little time (and no $ to spend on a gym)... so I am hoping that this works out well for me...

I have been going to the gym regularly since I'm really close to my goal weight, but the program works without it too. The good thing is that if you exercise you earn extra points so you can eat more.

If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take you to lose 38 lbs? I would love to lose 50 lbs or so.... get back to a much better weight for my height.... (5'2')

I should really join WW. I want to lose 15 or 20 pounds before my wedding if I can. I know I can do it, I just need the extra push.

I have gone back and forth with wieght watchers. I did really well with it about 2 years ago, but gained all 30lbs back when I quit smoking and stopped following the program.

Right now I am not going to WW, but have been working out regularly (Ok so it has only been 2 weeks)

You should do it! we could have a posting every day/week kind of like the countdowns, but saying who was able to stick to their points for the week, and how much we lost.... We already support each other about wedding related stuff!

Re: Starting Weight Watchers

I started trying to watch what I ate in December after reaching my highest weight ever and learning I had some health problems like high cholesterol. I lost 6 pounds on my own in a little over a month. In mid-January I started on WW flex plan and now I am down 13 more pounds. I would like to lose around 20 more. I don't have extra money to go to the gym either so I try walking at a park by my house every other day and also bought some workout videos for my apartment. I love using my exercise ball. You get a really good workout on it. Now I am down two sizes and my doctor just told me my cholesterol is normal.

Same thing happened to me. I was at my highest weight this winter and i this weekend i learned that i had high chol and triglycerides. It stinks but i've been trying to watch what i eat so i just lost 5 pounds. I hope i can bring my numbers down. But i'm happy to know that u did it!

I would be completely up to joining, but I don't know of any WW by me. I can't being new to an area. I think I am just going to start a log and keep track of everything in writing that way I can see exactally what I am doing.
