Status Update!

For anyone who hasn't had any solid checks lately but are working hard on them, I thought it would be cool to share what we are working on currently!

I'll go first!

I have seen two photographers already and am seeing two more this weekend, so hopefully will be able to make a decision early next week on that! I am seeing a band tonight and another on monday and we can definitely make our decision for that as well next week!! Can't wait for these two big checks!!

I have also made two floral appts and a makeup trial appt!!

how about you all?

I'm working on flowers and made my hair trial and make-up trial appointments for next month. I also have my TP E-Pics next month.

Meeting with a dj next week. Was supposed to meet with one last night but he canceled at the last minute so prob not gonna go with them lol.

Trying DESPERATELY to get inspiration for a color scheme, theme etc.

And will probably be committing to my Maggie dress soon.

Working on getting my RH. Then from there the possibilities are endless! I'm dying to book other vendors, but gotta have the RH first lol.

I totally know how you feel, I've been there!! enjoy this part of it and the fact you can focus on one thing, because you are right, after the RH, it all blows wide open and you have a ton of to dos!! haha

I actually booked my last big vendor last night.

Now onto Bridesmaid dresses and Tuxes.

Now trying to figure out all the 'extras' and little details and make sure I have a plan of how I am going to do them.

We also have to do the honeymoon but we are going to wait until the summer for that one!

Where are you looking?

I looked at Marina Del Rey, Villa Barone, and Jericho Terrace. Pretty much settled on JT since its the most bang for my buck budget wise. This weekend I hopefully will book and make it official!

1. I've been researching design ideas for wedding invitations for my 5 de mayo themed wedding.

2. FH and I are still trying to decide on what DJ we want to book with.

3. I'm starting to look thru Bridal Magazines for wedding dresses I like so I can try on

4. Booked my Make-Up Trials for next month.

5. looking for engagement picture ideas to go along with my theme.

For the longest time, I had no checks but all of a sudden, everything is coming together!

I have: Church, RH, DJ, Band, Photo/Video

Next I am going to call the woman who I want to use for flowers, but I don't think I'm not going to actually meet with her to decide on flowers until after we decide on BM dresses. I think my next big thing is hotel block, limos and STDs!

We are meeting with the photographer we like tomorrow for the 2nd time and hopefully booking!
The next major vendor we will book will be DJ and I will start looking for dresses! (This may not happen until April break tho!)

i need to start looking at florists asap...then i will do dj and limo...

would anyone mind sharing a good florist with me? would you mind FMing your pricing? i want to try to get something for at least $2k not sure if thats possible....oy!

Met with a DJ last night and met with another last weekend. We also met with a third a month ago and I think we may book with one of them this weekend!

I really want to get my BM dresses. All my girls are getting together March 26th to try on some final choices. And I want to settle on a theme. I don't really have one, just a color scheme.
