Staying on track

Original post by irishsweetheart

For those girls trying to drop a few pounds before the big day, how do you keep yourself on track when you feel you're starting to fall off?

I've lost quite a bit of weight but I sitll have a year and a half till my day and I'm afraid I'll start to put it back on especially since the past few weeks I've really really fallen off the track! Help! TIA

Re: Staying on track

just don't beat yourself up about slip ups... I've been on Weight Watchers for 2 months. If I have a bad meal, I don't go nuts about it and turn it into a whole bad day of eating, which can then lead to a bad week!

ive found that writing down everything (and i mean EVERYTHING) that i eat keeps me honest and healthier. the guilt of seeing the words 'haagen-dazs' is just too much to bear!

Oh yeah!!! I agree...my thinking is, if I don't want to have to write it down, I don't eat it! It really holds you accountable!!

Let's keep each other motivated. I just joined weight watchers online. Saw a pic of myself and was NOT HAPPY!!!! Hitting the gym like they are closing tomorrow!!!

Ditto....I have always been so disciplined and for some reason, I have let myself slip since recovering from surgery in January. NO MOTIVATION! Any ideas would greatly help. That and the fact that I could eat every sweet thing known to man!!!

I am with ya!! I LOVE sweets...not so much candy, but ice cream...jeeeshh!!! Cookies, I just need to keep them out of site! I joined weight watchers and after only a fews days, I already feel less bloated. I guess I am losing water weight. I bought some of the WW frozen treats and they are really good and only 1 point. Some are 2, but I got the fudge ones and they are 1 point. Don't worry, we will keep each other motivated!!

I went out and bought a bottle of water that holds 6 glasses which is the amount that WW says you should be drinking a day. The thing is I was told it looks like a bottle of Vodka!

God knows what my co-workers think of me but I swear it's just water!
