We have 2 rooms booked at the hotel the night before the wedding, but the problem is that we are running out of rooms in our block and the hotel has no more rooms available that night. I would like to release one of the rooms to our guests, and we'd stay in the other. I really dont like the idea of doing this but it makes sense from a practical standpoint.
Is anybody doing this?

Ummmm I'm staying at my dads the night before the wedding with a bunch of my bridesmaids. It makes sense to release a room, is there anywhere else you can stay?

We're staying together the night before in our apt like any other night. We won't really separate until I leave for the hotel the next afternoon (the day of) to go get my hair and m/u done.

I am staying at the hotel with a few of my BM's the night before. FH is staying at his parents on LI. Could your FH maybe stay with someone (share a room) with maybe a GM or close family memeber? Or, maybe you could share? That might help with the # of room situation.... Or, FH could stay at another hotel, nearby....

I don't think it is a big deal -- but if you are not comfortable is there somewhere else either of you could stay -- or can FH bunk up with any of his friends that are staying at the hotel too?

we are breaking all kinds of traditions, right down to taking a majority of our photos about 2 hours before our ceremony.

i dont think its a big deal.....FH heard that there is an asian custom where the bride and groom have breakfast together the morning of the wedding and he really liked that idea - he knows b/c a co-worker of his told him about it b/c she is getting married in June - we both think its a nice idea to have breakfas together.....but anyway im rambling....if you arent superstitious i dont think its a big deal - im not superstitious at all when it comes to wedding stuff......

Thanks...I am looking into other options, but I feel kind of bad sending him off to 'crash on someone's couch', so to speak, the night before his wedding.

Even though we live together and are doing pictures before the ceremony, I still don't want to see him until we take pictures. He's staying at our house with the guys and I'm probably getting a hotel with some bms. I don't know, as much as we're not being traditional about anything else I really want to be about that I don't know why.

We will not be staying together the night before. I personally don't see a big issue if you decide TO do that. Do whatever works best for YOU!

We're staying togehter only because we live togehter and my parents live west of where we live and the RH is east of us so it would be silly to do that
