We have 2 rooms booked at the hotel the night before the wedding, but the problem is that we are running out of rooms in our block and the hotel has no more rooms available that night. I would like to release one of the rooms to our guests, and we'd stay in the other. I really dont like the idea of doing this but it makes sense from a practical standpoint.
Is anybody doing this?

My bridesmaid are staying in my hotel room with me the night before. And before we leave the next day I want to prepare for my honeymoon nite with rose petals etc!

I kicked him out the night before. I did not want to see him lol and it made it THAT much better on my wedding day cause I missed him so much!

My friend that wanted her FH to not see her at ALL before the ceremony had separate rooms, then shared one room after they were married.

What you are saying makes complete sense but I guess it's what you are comfortable with. I don't want to see fh on the night before. I'm staying at hotel and he'll be at our house.

I am shocked at the amount of girls who are staying with their FH's the night before, I didnt think that was becoming more common and accepted. I think its awesome!

I think that the most important this is that you have what YOU want!!! if you don't want to stay together the night before than you shouldn't!!! if that means that you're short a room - oh well. wow thats the most 'Bridezilla' sounding statement i've maid thus far! I say you see which of his friends, groomsmen, or family memebers that ARE staying in the hotel can put him up for the night - that is there isn't a family or friends house he can stay at. and as far as feeling bad putting him out on a couch...yes, he should get a good nights sleep but really, guys are kinda low maintenance on stuff like this. i'm sure he'll be fine....AND, if I were the 'buddy' who he was staying with - i'd insist he take the bed for the night and i'd take the couch.

Ok, think I've convinced him to stay at home the night before. We don't live THAT far from the hotel, but our RD is at the hotel the night before and he wanted to be able to have a few drinks and just go upstairs. Plus IMO its kind of silly to pay for two rooms.
I'd have gone home myself, but hair and makeup are coming early the next morning and I'd have to kick him out at 5am anyway

you can stay together. it'll probably help keep you calmer.
if you are worried about tradition, could he stay with his parents that night, or another friend who is staying?

FH is staying at the hotel, I'm staying at my parents house....can you maybe bunk with your MOH or BM? Or can FH bunk with GM or BM?
