How far in advance should I send them out before the wedding.

We're sending ours out in Feb, so that's like a little under 8 months. I think the standard is 6 - 8 months before.

I sent mine out one week after the one year point. Then I sent a few more at the 6 month mark.

well we scheduled our epics on June 18. Getting married 2/12/11. Do you guys think its going to be cutting to to close if if sent them out the last week of July? Should I just not bother and save myself the money?

I am sending mine out a year before because

1) It is a Thursday night event

and

2) We have a lot of out of state guests.

Normally invites go out about 6 months before and save he dates maybe 2 months before that, so I am super early. I already ordered them too, I fell in love and the price was right!!

I'm actually sending them out now. Ours is also a Thursday night, & I want the date out there. Friends of our just got engaged & booked a month after us. So that kind of sparked me to send them now as more & more people will be planning things for that time of year, we want them out well in advance. You can send them whenever you want I feel. My gf gave hers out at her E-Party & that was a year & a half before.
