Got our proof back for our STD! So excited. Have made a few changes and are waiting for the final proof. Super excited. Question- do we put the ceremony site location or the reception site location??

I'd put the ceremony site if you're not inviting everyone to the reception that you're inviting to the ceremony (apparently, i've heard that people do that for co-workers, bosses, etc?).

I had a friend who just wrote the town where the reception was going to be. I guess it doesn't really matter, because people will be getting all the info from the invitation anyway.

I just included the town but FH and I are getting married at RH. I think reception location town if anything like sgf said in case you have people you invited to. Reception you're not inviting to the ceremony everyone needs and STD. HTH!

Hmm We weren't planning on separating invitations. We were just going to invite everyone to everything..so in the case write ceremony location? Ah. Who knew this would be so complicated? hahaha

On the sample I designed (and will probably order because we both love it so much), we just put the date and a link to our wedding website. We're only sending them to people who are invited to the reception anyway. And with the wedding website, people can see the agenda before the invitations arrive.

I would love to just put 'Long Island, NY' on mine but I don't have enough out of town guests to be so coy :) I'd put the ceremony site. It's point A that you want everyone to be at!

Haha this was my thought and my problem too. We're putting our ceremony location, just thought that was the better choice for us.

Our photographer said that STD is normally reception site so we are leaving it as is. Got our final proof back and LOVE!!! So excited
