i am having trouble visualizing what it would look like....i think its bc i haven't had my coffee yet....so where does the label of the poem go? so its the std, the card and poem in the envelope?

geez christine if i hadnt had my coffee yet i would be a zombie lol. I have a pink card with a heart on the front of it...then you open up the card (this part im still playing around with) and on the left side would be the poem and on the right Im going to attach the STD magnet. Im not sure though I may switch that so the writting is on the 'correct' side but i originally had it this way so the magnet would be the focus

ok i just had 2 cups of coffee, so now I can better visualize this! yea i don't think the labels are the best idea....what about finding someone who does calligraphy, it could be alot of $, but maybe you can find someone who just does it on the side or something

i would call staples or kinkos to find out how much it would be for them to print them for you

Re: is this tacky

why dont you print it on a nice colored paper, cut it to the size you like, and then just stick it (glue dots?) to the inside of the card??

my rule of thumb.. if you have to ask if its tacky... it usually is.. i know i can say this to you and you wont get mad. i wouldnt do the labels.. it sets the tone for your wedding.. try kinkos!

I hate it when a great idea that's floating around in my head just can't come to fruition.
Good luck and I hope you post the finished product (whatever it may be.)

Re: is this tacky UPDATE w/ pics of final product!

it looks like the font isnt centered on the heart...Can you center it somehow?

FutureMrs.M Posted:

Re: is this tacky UPDATE w/ pics of final product!

the font is centered...it was just cuz i had the picture standing up with light behind it you could see the design through the paper that is on the front when you hold it open on your hand you cant see the front design...
