Does anyone know where I can get STD cards or postcards made up at a reasonable price? Did anyone happen to make STD postcards on their own? If so how did you go about doing it, and where can I buy blank postcards?

use www.cardstore.com They will even mail them from their location for you. I got my STD cards and e-party invites there. Great service, great selection. I actually created my own for both (well SonicStef did it for me)

I bought littel blank notecard with hearts on the front, and we just wrote a quick note telling people to save the date, stuck an engagement photo in it, and that was it!

Thanx for the info. The www.cardstore.com website looks great. I think I'm going to use them to make STD postcards. Did you send a card to every person that you are inviting to your wedding? I have a somewhat list of who I'm inviting, still waiting for FI and his mom to give me a list. So I guess I have to wait for that first, but I don't have a definate list as of yet.

we made ours and we sent one to everyone they served as our Christmas cards on one side and the other side was our STD.

I made STD myself -- I just used MS Word & clip art (which you can access via Word). I mailed them out in fancy floral envelopes I got at Staples, I addressed them with a gold paint pen & sealed them with heart-shaped stickers. Super-cheap and I thought they looked really cute.
