STD question....

STD question....

Ok so i am working on my Save the Dates and I would like to ask you ladies something, does the STD has to have your color scheme, mine is purple but on the STD it looks weird so I wanted to have it in a neutral color like black or white...what do you ladies think?

i think thats totally fine, fsil didnt use her colors either, sometimes its just not flattering on certain things

our std have nothing to do with our colors.
we really didnt care. we wanted something dramatic and modern.

The STD can be however you want it to be, it doesn't have to be the color scheme of the wedding or even have the same theme, just make it how you like it

One of my girlfriends color scheme is mink/taupe-
Her STD was light blue background with a wedding dress and tux on hangers (so cute!)(I picked it out!)(LOL).

I don't think it's a big deal to go neutral.

I think with the save the dates you can definitely get away with different colors and themes.

Our STD (in album) is not our color scheme. We picked the color we chose b/c it went with what we were wearing in the picture. My wedding colors are pink, the STD is yellow. So I definitely don't think it matters, it's whatever looks nice!
