STD question

STD question

a lot of our couple friends don't live together.

for some of them, the only reason we're even friends with the bf or gf is b/c they're dating our friend. i certainly don't want them to break up, but if they do, i wouldn't be inviting the bf or gf to the wedding. is it ok to only send a STD to the person we're actually friends with?

also, if so, can i just address the STD to the person we're friends with and not include the bf/gf's name?

yup, i think you are doing it right. send it to the friend that you would invite even if they arent with the significant other. FH and i had a TON of people we are friends with bc they are dating but in the end, unless they lived together the friend got it (and it didnt say and guest) and that was it. No one questioned it.

absolutely!

I only sent STDs addressed to our friends...not to their bf/gf UNLESS they lived together

one of our couples friends live together so I put both their names on the STD

Re: STD question

what about a couple that we're good friends with both the bf and gf.. they don't live together and if they broke up with each other, they would still both be invited. should i send an STD to both of them?

p.s. this is annoying!

Yes, only address to the friends you actually want there. If they are living together then by default, invite the bf/gf. If they were out of town and still not living together, I still addressed to both if they were in a serious relationship - no one wants to travel alone if they are in a relationship.

I had a similar issue and was kinda friends with my friend's gf (now ex-gf) although they didnt live together, I didn't address a save the date to her because they were on the outs. They are now broken up and it will be a last minute decision to invite her - since we are not that close but she knew FH and I well when they were together.
