When addressing STD cards do you write 'and guest' for those who are not married or engaged or is that only for the formal invites? Thanks

Re: STD question
Only for the invites. On the STD just do whoever is invited. If you're inviting a long-term couple I would put both but if its someone single or in a new relationship, i would just put them, and then save the guest for the invite.

Re: STD question
I am saving 'guest' for the wedding invites. I just addressed it to the ones we know! If they are in a long standing relationship we put
Mr John Smith & Miss Mary Jones

No and guest. If you know the female it would be her name first then her boyfriend or significant other.

Great question, I was thinking the same thing. I think I am not going to. I may need the extra spots and may not be able to invite people with guests if they are not married or in a serious relationship.
