STD question. . . Help

I think the point of putting the town is just to give the out of town guests a heads up so they can start making travel arrangements. As long as the ceremony and reception are near each other it shouldnt matter too much, but I think I would put the location of the ceremony.

On our STD's I put the link to our wedding website. Our wedding website has all of the info on it...where the ceremony is, where the reception is, what hotel we made arrangements at, etc.

I think we are going to put our wedding website on there too! But it's under construction! We have a lot of work to do!

We had this issue, and we decided to put the name of the RH and the city the RH is in on the STD... We also have our wedding website and it says we're getting married at a church once you get there, but since our church is almost 30 miles from our RH and not everyone goes to the church, we just decided to inform everyone of where the reception and general hotel location will be... I thought it was appropriate.. pics are in my albums

I wanted to just put 'Long Island, NY' but my mom freaked out and said she wanted her family to know what town they'd have to end up in since a lot are from LI and Queens

I've gotten one where it just said 'Long Island, NY' instead of a specific town. At least that way guests get an idea of where they are going. If you are going to put the website with more detailed info then that should be enough
