Is everyone doing Save The Date Cards???

Is that limited to holiday weekend weddings? or is it a matter of choice?

I'm getting married on the Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend, which is not a high traveled holiday.. Should I send a STD or can I get away w/ not sending one?

I think u should just in case. B/c some people like myself, LOL jump for the opportunity to go away when there is a 3 day weekend.

i think if you have a lot of family/friends from out of town you should send one no matter when your wedding is.

Well, the only reason we did them is because ours is on a holiday day weekend - the friday before the 4th of july

I'm sending them out so people will know because our wedding is in the summer. Your wedding falls on a holiday..you should probably do them because I know a lot of people who do go away for that weekend.

I think it depends...mine is during memorial day weekend so i knew i had to. But some people just like sending them out b/c it's nice for people to know...even if it isn't a holiday so they can make arrangements with time off work and such if they're from OOT

i made them, im gettting married on a thursday night, 4th of july weekend, and i thought i should inform everyone ahead of time

Whenever a holiday weekend is involved, you probably want to send one! My wedding coincides with the week long feb break that many schools take, so we are sending STDs because I am sure many people make travel plans in advance.
