STD w/ hotel info?? (question)

I already printed out the STD's and the cards to stick them on. Problem is i didn't think about sending hotel info with them. we haven't even blocked the rooms, but we plan to in the next couple of days...

Now... how did you send your hotel info? SHould i just print up the info on the top half of the notecard thats blank? or should i slip in an extra piece of paper? or rely on word of mouth? (i don't want to have to send out a seperate mailing... no more money!)

(side funny note--- when i said something about sending out STD's to FH, he looked at me like i was crazy.... he didn't know that STD's were save the dates... LOL)

You could print out a separate piece of paper...but I think it's fine if you just wait and send the hotel info with your wedding invitations...no?

According to the ettiquite books the hotel information goes with or comes after the formal invitation, so don't worry about adding it.

I made little notecards to put in my STD with the hotel info. If you already finished your cards I would just put them in with the wedding invitation. We just have a large amount of out of town guests so I wanted to include it now.

I also did STD magnets about 8 months before my wedding - I also included a seperate insert with the hotel information. I would include it if you have the time.

I included the hotel info with the STD's and I'm glad I did. There was 3 other weddings booked at the same hotel and they ran out of rooms. My friends and family managed to book 25 rooms before they filled up (most doing it with the STD info).

We have hotel info up on our wedding website, and we are putting the url on the STDs.

That's funny about your FI and the liweddings abbreviations! Similar things have happened to me...
