Since we're in the new millenium, what do you think of emailing image attachments of STD 'cards'?
Practically all my friends live on the internet nowadays...

Re: STD's - emailing image cheesy?
honestly, i am traditional about that stuff and would send the paper STDs. but it's a cute idea - if it's 'you' then go for it! if i received an email STD i wouldn't think it was cheesy at all.

Some of the 'older' crowd probably would want something sent in the mail. If you wanted you could send the e-mail one to your friends who you KNOW have the internet and paper ones to the 'older' crowd.

i know a lot of people who received these and erased them without even seeing the card. i wouldnt suggest it. i think the paper makes it more formal and the guests can save it or post it somewhere to remember the date

Call me old fashioned but I think this is not the best way.

Not that its cheesy, but I know a lot of times i get emails, open them, and then forget to print them or answer them.

Re: STD's - emailing image cheesy?
My Fi recieved a save the date through the emial - he usually hands me the inviation to book hotel - but without a card he never would remeber to print the email - so i never got the information in time to book a room at the hotel blocked
it seems nice but does not always work - things that imporant should be in paper
