Stealing idea, lol - If you had to pick one of these halls with poll.

Stealing idea, lol - If you had to pick one of these halls with poll.

We are slowly narrowing down our options but still haven't come to a final decision. We plan to have about 60-75 guests max. We're probably doing a saturday or sunday afternoon wedding. The only place we can afford a Saturday night is Ariana Waterfall and we didn't really love the place. I would love to hear your opinions about the halls we have narrowed it down to so far. We live in Queens and most of our guests will be coming from Queens and the Bronx. We also have a few OOT's from CT and MA. I looked into a few restaurants with party rooms but the menu's tend to be limited with only passed appetizers and everything is extra. It winds up to be more expensive this way. Also we plan to have our ceremony at our RH (preferably outdoors) and the restaurants were not able to accommadate this request. Thanks!!!!

Remember JMO:

I chose Westbury Manor, but the only one I was able to compare that with was Leonard's as I have not been to the others for events.

Good luck!

i hated Ariana, i dont see it as a wedding, ive been to so many sweet 16s, showers there..it doesnt strike me as wow, no offense to anyone please! everyone has different taste...but definately not Ariana...plus you dont have to do saturday night, u can do friday and sunday...and those who want to show up will definately come!

Leonards seems like a better location for your guests in queens, plus im biased

Westbury Manor...I visit most of those halls in your poll and ended up booking the Westbury Manor.

I went to over 20 halls took almost 6 months to make a decision, we I wnet to Westbury Manor, i was amazed. I was actually in the gardens crying at how perfect it was.. just personal taste though.. really good reviews too, never really heard anything bad.

I voted for Westbury Manor - obviously I'm biased but they did an amazing job for my wedding.

BUT I had guests come from Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx and it was a half an hour drive for all of them! I had a Sunday afternoon wedding and there was no traffic. I actually had a lot of guests comment that the drive was a lot shorter than they expected!

I have only been to Larkfield...my friend got married there in July. The food was great and the staff was awsome too. My fh loved the champagne and the girl gave us all the info on it! Sorry I can't compare it to your other choices to help you out!

I would say Westbury Manor for location purposes. The Carriage house is really nice too. But Larkfield has the best food!!

I would go with either Westbury Manor or Leonards.

the only one that i have bee to was Milleridge , personally, and im not trying to hurt or offend anyone, i did not like it. I thought it was really expensive for what they were offering and the grounds were really messy, just my opinion of course

the food at metropolitan was awesome but not the biggest place and of course no real photo ops....milleridge i dont really like the food but i do like the carriage house room beautiful....westbury had really good food and the grounds are beautiful never been to larkfield or the others so i guess im in between metropolitan and wm

Thanks everyone for your opinions!! So far the front runners are Westbury Manor by a big lead then The Metropolitan. I love hearing everyone's thoughts and opinions about the places I'm thinking of because it definately helps me look at the places in different ways. I really loved the Metropolitan but FH kinda ruled it out because the ceremony would be in the reception room. I would like to look into a way around this because otherwise I do love the Metropolitan and I hear the food is amazing. I wonder if they would let me do the ceremony in the outdoor CH area in the larger room if there wasn't a party going on or in the CH room of the larger room??? The only thing I thought was weird is I would have to pay for valet parking there.

hey i obviously chose westbury manor..but i do want to say, i put together and booked my company xmas party last year at the Metropolitan, and everything was wonderful, things were going great, until my coworker had what looked to be like a HUGE MOTH in her ceaser salad (dead of course, lol..sorry dont mean to laugh)
im sure this could happen anywhere?..ok im not too sure about that, i dont want to offend, i booked the place, so i obviously liked it, until that..id never go there again.
