Stefans vs Spitz and Peck: 2014 Bride Crashing - The Royalton Brides - Florist

Hi 2013 Brides!

My wedding isn't until 2014, but I thought some 2013 brides might be a little closer to locking in on some vendors, so I am jumping in here :)

I'm getting married at The Royalton and I was wondering which florist other Royalton brides have chosen and why.

I met with Stefans a few weeks ago, and while I loved the appointment and everything they described my day would look like, when they sent me the contract, there were multiple errors in it. I replied with the necessary changes and they continued to send me a contract with errors - we went 3 rounds with errors until I said forget it, we can iron it out when I come in to see the samples.

This just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If they can't get a contract right, are they going to be organized enough on the day of my wedding?

The thing is - one of my closest friends used them - 7 years ago, and she had an amazing experience! Maybe my experience is just a fluke?

Long story short - which florist are you using and why?? Who gave better prices?

I am using Stefan's... I too had a few mistakes in my contract but I chose not to clear em up over email because I was going back to see a sample anyway and would address it then...Stefan's has a great reputation and I worked with josh...he has been great so far...I also met with spitz and peck and the initial meeting was great although he would've nail down a price for me, tried to talk me out f a lot of my ideas and when I went back to see the sample it was half a sample! They couldn't even make me a full one...and their price was like double Stefan's...insane!! Stefan's saw my vision, made me a beautiful sample and even spray painted some of the tall bases on the spot so I could see different colors...

I, too am going with Stefan's. I met with one person at Stefan's and it did not go well, however my experience with S&P went terrible. Gerard from the Royalton put me in touch directly with Josh at Stefans and it was such a great experience. He saw my vision completely and worked within my budget. There were small errors in the contract that he fixed as soon as I called him about it. I do know another bride using S&P. Both have great reputations, I think it depends on who you click with best overall and delivers your vision within your budget. Good luck!!

I am using Spitz & Peck. I had a great meeting with Bob! Highly recomend :)

Met with Spitz and Peck, but ended up with Dalsimer.
I always thought I'd work with Bob but I didn't get the right feeling and I got it elsewhere. They are both wonderful, but Steve and Rich at Dalsimer have been great so I'd give them a try!
