Stepfather/daughter song help

Ok, so I am having a really hard time here. I am going to dance with my stepdad and I cant find the right song. My mom and I spent like 3 hours the other day listening to a bunch of songs...and none of them fit right. He has been around for about 16 years and helped me thru alot, but wasnt there when I was really little. HELP please!! Anybody have suggestions?

I am dancing with my uncle since he is giving me away and we are dancing to Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

I am in the same boat as you.My stepdad is the world to me. He wasn;t there when I was little girl but has been in my life for the past 18 years.He is walking me down the isle. I was going to dance with him to do I make you proud by Taylor Hicks but I am not a Taylor Hicks fan .

You hit the nail right on the head. I knew there was a song that I heard a few months ago, but I couldnt remeber what it was, I was thinkging it was Clay Aiken. BUt I just listened to the Taylor Hicks song, and I got goose bumps!! Thats the one!! Thanks for your help!!
