Re: Stephanotis

KC - my dress has stephanotis embroidered in it, so I'm having a stephanotis theme....down to the boutinnieres on the guys. I may even pin some steph flowers in my hair and will have them in the bo-k.

By the way - don't give up on Burton's just yet. I am using them and am thrilled so far....

Re: Stephanotis

every vendor that i have spoken with has told me that stephanotis is only intended for the bride & groom!

but i'm putting stephanotis in the corsages & bouts of my parents & inlaws - they are married & in their own right are brides & grooms!

I don't believe in following any of these so-called 'rules'. Whoever you want to have stephanotis, should have it.

i totally agree- just didnt know if it was the kind of scandalous thing that old ladies would be whispering to each other about -' I cant BELIEVE the ushers are wearing STEPHANOTIS!' LOL I say stephanotis all the way then!

Re: Stephanotis

I think others can carry it. I went to a Greek wedding last year and the bride's bouquet was all stephanotis. I believe it is traditional for good luck.
