Hi girls...
Well, on Tuesday, Steve was in a very bad accident... he was hit by a suburban while riding his bicycle. He was taken by helicopter to the hospital, and remained in the ICU for 2 days.... he needed surgery to close a large laceration on his stomach that left his ribs exposed, and needed stitches on both of his arms and face. His injuries were very severe, and he lost a LOT of blood... but luckily after two days in intensive care, he was brought to a regular room, and now he is home with me.
It really was the scariest thing that has ever happened to us... and the thought of losing the love of my life was just unbearable... especially only two months before becoming his wife! All I could do was bargain with god... and pray for his recover.... and although he's still very badly injured, he is doing much better and will be okay. In light of all of this, I started to thing about the things that are important.... and the things that arent. I felt so silly for worrying about stupid little details for our wedding... and I realize now all I want to do is be his wife, and love him and take care of him forever.
Please girls.... I know we all get very caught up in plannign the perfect wedding, but please take a step back and realize what really matters.
I'm including some pictures too... but they are very graphic. Please pray for a full recovery for my lovieeee!
(I'm not including the ones of his face, he feels embarrased!)
FIrst, a picture of his left arm ('road rash' as they call it... they could not use sutures because there was just no skin left, then there are some sutures in a lower spot)...... Second, a picture of his right arm (not as bad), and Third, a picture of his torso (needed 39 staples).

OMG THANK GOD HE IS ABLE TO POSE FOR THE PICS...TELL HIM TO KEEP THE AREAS CLEAN SO THEY DONT GET INFECTED...TELL HIM TO TAKE IT EASY AND YOU TOO OF COURSE.

Geeze...Honey Im so sorry but at elast he is all right and was in good health to begin with so he should have a full and speedy recovery. Can't think of a reason why this would happen, but I try to believe that everything does have some reason and God has his plan. I wish you and Steve much better tomorrows.
