Re: Stewart Manor
I'm getting married there in two months. We booked with Frank, who is there now, but for a while he left and there seemed to be something 'funky' going on with management. But it seems they've got it under control. My only complaint so far was Frank's 'laid back' attitude. It can make the client (you) very comfortable, which makes you forget what NEEDS to go in the contract. Just make sure if you sign you get ABSOLUTELY EVERY LAST DETAIL written down. Don't let him tell you 'oh yea, don't worry, it's included'. We got a little screwed, but we really must take some of the responsibility for it and not put all the blame on them. They did try to correct the problem, so I have to say that too. Other than that, they have been wonderful to work with, and as it gets closer we will be working with them more and more, and I can't wait. Bottom line - anyone and everyone makes mistakes...I have heard nothing bad about them at all - and we went for a food tasting before we booked, and the food was delicious!! The fire place in the reception room was a huge selling point for us - it really is beautiful!!
If you have any questions, please ask away!! And good luck!

We had our wedding there last month and can't say enough about them. EVRYTHING was terrific! The food was delicious, the service outstanding. Literally everyone we spoke to said they were always backed up woth drinks and they loved the food.We booked with Frank and heed Marnies warning, he does make you a bit too comfortable. James was our Maitre D' and was very attentive to us and our families. ALan was our headwaiter and we was perfect - always within sight and usually with a drink for us. He also made sure we sat down to have some dinner!
THey really did a great job and we are thrilled with the outcome.
