Stewart Manor Country Club

My sister is considering Stewart Manor, however a friend of my mom's told her today that her daughter had chosen SM and when they went for a food tasting, it was actually at someone else's wedding! Needless to say the bride freaked out and the bride to be was upset and no longer wanted to get married there. This seems completely wrong and would be a deal breaker.

Has anyone had experience with a tasting there or heard anything like this happening?

Stewart Manor Country Club - Long Island Weddings

I live right by there, and at one time years ago it was beautiful and everyone wanted to get married there... The last 15 years or so it had a terrible reputation and the food was terrible. however, just like a year ago pelligrini's has become the new caterer (pelligrini is on covert ave right near the SM country club and everyone is the area loves it), and the food is like amazing now. Not alot of people are aware that there is a new caterer though, so people still think the food is bad lol

Also, just to add, the place is a little outdated and idk if I would get married there. My shower will be there and i think it's good for like a brunch or something

Stewart manor country club? stuart Thomas manor? I liked stewart manor country club. the one in garden city fh friend got married there 4 years ago everyone loves it? idk about food tasting though

stuart thomas manor is in farmingdale... the stewart manor country club is between garden city and floral park and it is small and rustic. If the wedding guest list is small enough, it is very nice. It is just outdated looking, so it's really a nice place for someone looking for a vintage/antique look

we looked there when i first went to see venues, and i loved everything about the main room but FH thought the coctail hour space was way too small and my mom hated how outdated the bridal suite was.
ive heard good things though

that's why I asked bc Stuart Thomas manor is gross but I thought Stewart manor country club was nice. for a small wedding,!

I looked there. I felt it was very masculine and had a ski lodge feeling. Seems very outdated.

i loved the main room at stewart manor. i loved the lights and the wood beams...i just didn't love the cocktail hour space.
