still agonizing over photographer

basically do you pick the photographer you feel comfortable with and has nice work and is very willing to work with you... and open to suggestions

or do you pick the photographer whose pictures blow you away but... for some reason intimidates you and you get a very factory feeling from?

I would NEVER EVER bookwith someone who intimidates me....that way I can never say what I really feel

I want someone who has good quality work, is open for my suggestions and is easy to talk to.

Im like that with all my vendors, would never have it any other way!

Hi,

You can definitely have the best of both worlds, without the anxiety just takes some shopping around.

We used creative compositions and they were fantastic!!!!

We met with this photographer also, very easy going.. she's trendy and alternative, and her work is beautiful.. www.angelicaglass.com/

You definitely don't want to be stressed out on your wedding day.
since the photographer is going to be capturing your day, you need to feel comfortable with them there. That was hugely important to me.

I hope that helps!

Honestly I have been booking with vendors whom I like. Obviously the product has to be quality. I prefer to work with people I click with....is this the best way to go? Maybe not lol

Your photographer is going to be an intimate part of your day...comfort would be important to me.

Good luck!

We went with one we were comfortable with.

If you pick someone you are not comfortable with, your pictures will not come out good no matter how talented they are. The fact that you aren't comfortable with them will show in the pictures. On the other hand, you shouldn't pick someone who is nice if you don't like their work. There are so many great people that are great photographers! If you haven't found them yet, keep looking. I loved infinite images -- really easy going guys and very good work.

Why would you want to feel intimidated on your wedding day? Just because this person's photos 'blow you away'? I'm sure you can find someone else who does the same quality work and won't intimidate you...keep searching!!!!

You spend ALL day with your photographer. You need to be comfortable with them. If you aren't, you'll get annoyed and frustrated.

Check out Denisimo Photography. Wonderful work and great people. I have pics in my album. FM if you want more info!

Any time you pick a vendor, regardless of what it's for, you should feel comfortable with them. They should be able to help you realize your vision without intimating you or making you feel bad in any way. I would never use a vendor that I am not comfortable with because it will show in the finished product. Go with your instincts!

I would go with the person who makes you feel good and has nice photos.

Have you tried Artisan Media Group? They are my photographer and a LiW vendor

GOOD POINT! Thats whY I had booked with feadli for my B Pics but though they are very sweet girls and sooo talented, I just didnt feel their vision would coincide with mine, despite by hot HOT they make other women look. So I went with laura Ryan Photography because she and I in all the times we have talked have an easy dialogue and I like her artistic vision so just feel better about her working with me.

You MUST be comfy with your photographer or you'll be stiff all day and give yourself an ulcer with all the stressing. You should pretty much be able to forget your photographer is there-just think of them as a movign ficture.

I would book with someone that I am comfortable with, remember you spend most of the day with this person-if you are uncomfortable this will show and come across in your pictures and Im sure that you do not want that.

I would go with the one I am comfortable with that does great work and will work with me.

I went with someone who's work blew me away and I felt very comfortable with. You can't act like yourself in front of a camera unless you the person who is taking the pictures is friendly. If you're not dead set on either one of them, keep looking for someone. There are so many in this area, you will find someone you love!

I would NEVER choose a photographer that is intimidating- to me that would be the worst feeling in the world.

We went with a photographer that we clicked with and has great talent for taking photos.
