Savage Garden's 'I knew I loved you (before I met you)' is the #1 contender because it was the first song we ever danced to, way back in 2000 at FH's prom.
BUT I really don't love the song. I actually think its kind of whiny
This may be a new contender: (I know its only played at Christmas time, but I totally think it fits my time of year!)
The Gift - Jim Brickman ft. Martina McBride
Winter snow is falling down Children laughing all around Lights are turning on Like a fairy tale come true Sitting by the fire we made You're the answer when I prayed I would find someone And baby I found you
CHORUS All I want is to hold you forever All I need is you more every day You saved my heart From being broken apart You gave your love away And I'm thankful every day For the gift
Watching as you softly sleep What I'd give if I could keep Just this moment If only time stood still But the colors fade away And the years will make us grey But baby in my eyes You?ll still be beautiful
CHORUS
(piano solo)
CHORUS All I want is to hold you forever All I need is you more every day You saved my heart From being broken apart You gave your love away I can't find the words to say That I'm thankful everyday For the gift
