SLEEP! Go take a nap in your car

Re: Still drunk

Try pedialite or gatorade, both will help you to rebalance your electrodes, which get knocked out of whack from drinking. Drink this in addittion to water, because your body is more than just dehydrated.

Hi Girlie !!!!!!!!!!!!

The best way to get over feeling drunk is to sleep it off

How are you now Mama

Re: Still drunk

shoot mine is tonight... im going to try my best to get home at a decent hour, but am afraid my nervousness (Im new here at the company) might make me drink a bit too much too soon!

I work for a big entertainment co that has a reputation for their parties so i am a bit scared!

Re: Still drunk

Well...I have a horrible story about it actually. There's this guy at my company who-for the past 8 months-has been EXTREMELY flirty with me. It's a bit unprofessional since we work together and are both married. I guess since I've been with Peter so long-I'm not used to getting that type of attention. For Peter and I, we're very comfortable and you get to that point of taking each other for granted.
Well-since this guy lays it on kind of thick-I developed some feelings for him, which kind of alarmed me. I wanted to address it with him for a while now because along with the compliments came a lot of snide remarks about my husband being unemployed (calling him a slacker, lazy, etc.). He's never met my husband and this really irks me.
So last night-in my drunken state-I told him EVERYTHING. Everything like; 'I don't appreciate the comments about my husband', 'I've developed feelings for you', blah blah blah...

What the heck is wrong with me??

Re: Still drunk

Oh no!

Dont' beat yourself over for getting drunk, you've had a stressful year with your DH out of work. It happens to the best of us.

As for what you said to the co-worker....maybe he blacked out and won't remember!!

But that's not nice of him to call your DH a slacker. I'd be ticked off if anyone insulted my FH!

Feel better.

Oh - protein is good for hangovers.
I always crave McDonalds Bacon Egg and Cheese (although I should shut up - they won't serve those now at 3pm!)

Re: Still drunk

Well, I don't clearly remember everything I said to him and what he said back exactly...He seemed to be evasive when I told him I didn't like his comments about my husband and he seemed shocked that I admitted to having feelings for him. He's probably sitting in his office right now with a big swollen head from his ego!
I'm wondering if he's ever going to speak to me again at this point...

I would kill for a McDonald's Bacon egg and cheese biscuit right about now!!

Re: Still drunk

I hope so Shamma..
I just don't want you to think I'm some sort of adulterous home-wrecker! I'm just confused by this guy...and a bit angry.
