still freaking out about hotel and shuttles!!!

So...all 3 hotels that are reccomended by chateau la mer are all booked up and/or do not have the shuttle available!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really wanted to book a hotel with a shuttle!! i called....

Courtyard marriott farmingdale....no room blocks available and no shuttle AVAILABLE

Wingate brentwood...no shuttle available

holiday inn express happague(sp)...no shuttle available

hampton inn commack...no rooms or shuttles available

Huntington hilton...no rooms available

Hampton inn commack.... no rooms available

Hilton garden inn westbury.....no roomsavailable

anyone have any other suggestions??? prefreably with shuttles???????????

How far do you want to travel and how many OOT guests do you have?

Did you try the Hilton on 110 (not sure if they do shuttles or not).

yeah thats the huntington hilton they have no rooms or a shuttle

Im not familiar with Long Island so i dont know whats far away from what. BUT i did rooms at Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview. Its a really nice place off the highway, so its simple to get to. They offer shuttle service for 2 hours before and 2 hours after events for your guests BUT its not free.

Holiday Inn Express in Smithtown???

They have a shuttle to Watermill, but I'm not sure on CLM.

I figured I'd mention it b/c you said you called Commack and its not too far from Smithtown.

holiday inn express does have a shuttle did they say it just wouldn't be available at the time of your wedding? or whats up with that, unless they stopped doing this. Call them back and ask them, maybe the person you spoke to is an idiot and doesn't know, which happens alot ive noticed with many types of businesses. Last year i blocked rooms at holiday inn when i had my e-party at CLM bc a bunch of my friends told me they didn't want to drive home. They said you get the free shuttle if you block 10 or more rooms

This is true, at least it was last year. We stayed there for a friends wedding and they definitely did have a shuttle.

Try Four Points Sheraton. It's up 110, all the way up by the expressway, but they have shuttles.

I looked at the Holiday Inn in Haupaugue, and they told me that there is a shuttle provided if 10 rooms are booked.
FH came up with a great alternative to a shuttle -- instead of a shuttle, call a local car service company, and ask how much it costs from the hotel to CLM. We're guessing it will be around $25. Then book as many cabs as you need to be there at the appropriate time -- I think that may be more cost effective than $350 plus tax plus tip for a shuttle that the hotel I'm staying at is offering. I'm guessing we'd just need 4 or 5 cars.

if you book 10 rooms at holiday inn though the shuttle is free. Same with many other hotels. For our wedding we blocked rooms at la quinta and its free for our guests
