had my shower. I know that I am having one, but I also know that my bm's have kinda dropped the ball and my mom had to take over. I don't want to sound greedy or selfish I just feel bad that it is 38 days before my wedding and it still has not happened. I see everyone posting about their showers and the wonderful job that their bm's and families did and I guess I just feel bad that mine has not happened yet Ok my little selfish rant is over.

Your not being selfish. We all have different experiences with our bm's and since I didnt want mine to drop the ball I pretty much planned and paid for most of it.
When you have yours it will be wonderful!!!

Well if it makes you feel any better I had a cra**y one! Literally my MOH ordered pizza and put out some fruit! and the worst part was she missed 1/2 of my Bach party bc she was GETTING READY for it!! Still. . you know some friends showed up, love was shown, and in the end her heart was still super in it. . . I think that it's good to take a step back and remember that everyone has different planning/party throwing abilities and sometimes what we see as dropping the ball is just . . well what people have to offer. I am sure you are still SUPER SUPER loved. ..
and all that pollyanna stuff said. I know it still s*cks and I hope you have a kick as* amazing shower you deserve!!

Aw, don't fret.... FSIL was just in her friend's wedding and they had her shower a WEEK before.... I thought that was nuts but whatever!!
