What size wedding are you having? The size alone can dictate the places you look at. Also, are you looking for Nassua or Suffolk?

If you haven't already you should check out
www.weddingsitesandservices.com I'm sure many of the girls on here will agree that its a great place to start for an overview of all of the places, because there are ALOT to choose from. As you'll see there are a lot of variables that go into choosing a place and the one thing you can do is come up with a list of things that are important to you and things that you're willing to compromise on. Obviously things such as the time of year, the day, the time of day, number of guests, whether you want one wedding at a time, your choice of menu, if you need the ceremony on site are just some of those factors. If you have any questions on specific places, do a search on here or just ask us. Everyone is always willing to help. Good luck!

It depends on what you are loking for:

Landscape ... gardens or water?
Approximately how many quests?
Are you looking for day or night and what day?
What's your price range?
Do you want 1-2 weddings at a time or does it matter if there are more?

I also suggest http://www.weddingfacilitiesandservices.com as they were a great help to me.

The sites and services guide is awesome...I went through it and picked places and then we just called for appointments and looked at the places.
Decide how far you are willing to go..the site and services has Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, Westchester, and of course LI.

And it gives price listings too!

Good Luck

Try the Metropolitan in Glen Cove.

They gave us a 50 person minimum for the club room. We are having 70-80 people. And the food is AMAZING, and they are pretty reasonably priced.

Their web site does not do them any justice you really need to check out the place.

Good luck.
