Still hurts, but I 'Wanna' TYPE!! UPDATE

To all of you gals, who wished me well, and prayed, a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My arm still hurts some, but does feel a bit better. I pray, one day I wake up, and it will feel completely better!!!!!!
How are all of you?? I missed you guys!!!!!!!
Deb and I plan to attend a Bridal Show, this Sun., to look for a photographer, to take e-pics, for the purpose of finally putting their engagement in the paper, both here and in Kings Park. As some of you might have heard, their e-pics got rained out, the Tuesday after Columbus Day weekend, in Long Island; They still plan to use Thomas Paul, in April, for their 'formal' e-pics-hope it doesn't rain again!! The 'FMIL' of our other Daughter, volunteered to make jewelry for Debi's Bridesmaids, as she just did for the Bridesmaids, for the Nov. 10th wedding , of her Son, and FDIL. Our Daughter is one of the Bridesmaids. I think she'll charge a very small fee, for the necklaces and earrings. I'm anxious to see them!
Meanwhile, I'm trying to grow out my hair. No MOB gown yet, but I have a picture in my mind of what I want; Perhaps something in a pastel aqua, some sparkles, with a chiffon type floaty skirt, and short sleeves. Have any of you seen my dress??
Better go heat our chicken corn soup for supper.

I was surprised when my family Dr. told me the orthopedic Dr. wrote him, and told him, he thinks I might have a torn rotator cup. My family Dr. said a torn rotator cup can tear more if not surgically repaired. He gave me another shot of cortisone, and ordered an MRI, and this time, I'd like to get it, if the new insurance gives approval. When I thought about being in therapy, with the therapists pulling on my arm, not knowing if I had a torn rotator cup or not, I was crying; If this ever happens to you, insist on an MRI, to get a positive diagnosis!!!!!!!!!!! I can only pray that more damage has not been done, because of not having an MRI, at the get-go, and from the pulling on my arm!!!! Mary

Thanks, Liz!!!!!!!!!!!!! The chicken corn was good!! We still have some for tonight. I poured some Swanson chicken broth in, because it was too thick. But, I think I prefer Bird-in-Hand Deli/Bakery's vegetable beef soup!!! What's your favorite soup? Hope your day is going great!!!!! Mary

Never heard exactly what had happened to your arm, but glad you're feeling up to typing. A couple of years ago, I broke my wrist in a couple of places and I had to type one handed and I know how hard that was!

Hi!!
Well, I just reached across the bed, to grab the clock, and felt something give in my arm, about three months ago! It was very painful, and I could not sleep in any position, other than sitting up. My Orthopedic Dr. diagnosed tendonitis, without benefit of an MRI, and gave me cortisone, which really got rid of the pain; I began therapy, but I felt my arm was worse! At my last checkup, the Dr. finally ordered an MRI, which unfortunately came at the same time as my husband's insurance changing AGAIN!!!!!!! Because of our deductible and co-pays, soaring to an astronomical amount, I canceled the MRI, and three orthopedic appts.
As the cortisone only lasts for about three months, my pain was returning, and typing was aggravating it. I am taking a wait/see approach. Just an FYI- Some antibiotics can cause tendon issues/ruptures. Cipro is one of them. I have been on many antibiotics, including Cipro, so I've been researching it. Mary

Last night my husband and I went to a showcase hosted by one of the band/DJ's recommended by their venue. We enjoyed the music of the band--very good, but very loud! My daughter and FSIL will probably be having a DJ.
