FH and I REALLY need to book our limos, and we're hoping to make a decision with some final input from his uncle this weekend.
I decided to call Camelot just to get one more company for a frame of reference, and spoke with Joe, who was really a nice guy. I already gathered pricing from one large Suffolk company, and two smaller ones, plus some additional Nassau companies who FMed me but were a bit out of our price range.
Unfortunately, after all was said and done, Joe came in way over our budget, even after upgrading our stretch to a Navigator for the same price. He was able to come down a little bit, but still was too high for us.
And then he recommended that we not use him and go with a Suffolk company! I was so impressed by his honesty, and really appreciated that he said that. As you all know, I have no tolerance for BS, so that was worth its weight in gold to me.
I'm very sorry that we cannot use them, but I just wanted to pass that nugget along for any Nassau or Queens girls that are still looking, because I was very impressed by his honesty!

Glad to hear you had such a good experience with him! I called him but he was way out of our budget too and didn't have the size vehicles we needed. I ended up booking with Always in Style Limos -- Tony is great!
Just curious... why do you 'really' have to book right away? You've got months to go. If you have something very particular in mind I guess I can understand... not everyone waits until the last month like I did.

I 'really' need to book them because if I don't, my head will just explode. It's completely my own personality defect LOL. I just want to have wedding stuff done and over with in the next month or so so I can concentrate on finding a place to live!

I agree with what you said about Joe's honesty.
I had made an appointment to see him based on all the great reviews on LIW. Well, when we went to see him, it was going to be expensive because our church/reception is in Suffolk County. So he also said we'd be better off with a Suffolk County limo company. He even called one for us and left them a message!
I am using Sir Oliver Limousines. I thought they were good and reasonable for what we needed plus they were very accomodating.
Give them a call if you haven't yet.

I am using NY Style Limos, they came highly recommended by my RH and from a family friend. He is a small company so competitive prices.

They're actually in my list, and they have the lowest price by a long shot. Just they don't exactly have the cars we want. Either a 10 pass limo or a 12-14 Excursion, we need to be able to fit 9 people in the back so the 10 pass won't work, and I don't really like truck limos Basically, we're deciding between price, and if we want to be real azzes to our BP and make them squish in the back lol.

We booked Camelot limos too and loved Joe because I felt like he was no BS. Thats what I loved about him... he tries to work with what you actually want and not sell you a whole lot of crap!
Did you find another place to book your limos from?

I agree! Joe really helped me and my FH out big time! He hooked it up and gave me everything I needed, not a bunch of crap

I called him too and he said the same thing to me, because it would be less $$ bc they wouldn't have to drive as far. He was really nice!
BTW, we ended up going with Elegant... they are highly reputable and gave us the best price!
