still looking for my reception hall

I'm on a pretty tight budget...FH is pretty much paying for the wedding and i'm trying to look for a place that can give us a good deal. So far we found one place with the day before easter...should we just stick with that or see if we can find something lower then $85 pp. is that even possible?

That is absolutely possible!! Try to pick an off month, or an afternoon wedding, or even a sunday.

Swan Club had some amazing prices, as well as Westbury Manor.

Thanks ladies! So far WM is giving us a pretty good deal...he is more nervous about the rain then I am! BUT I REALLY WANT TO TAKE PICTURES WITH THE PEACOCKS!!!!

I'm going to try the metropolitan, the riviera and leonards and thats it!! lol.
I want to stay in nassau county. most people are coming from queens. I tried Sand Castle but the room was way too big. really pretty and really nice people but too big for us...we have about 150. room fits 400!!

$85 pp for a Saturday night or is that price for daytime? If it's a night price, I'd grab it. If it's daytime, you can find a lower price pp.

ETA: The night before Easter may affect your RSVPs when it comes to OOT'ers. That's a very expensive time to travel and would affect people's ability to spend Easter with their families.

IMHO, there is a huge difference between WM and Leonard's.

Love the Riviera!! We are paying about that for a Friday night! They threw in a lot of stuff as well for free or at their cost. It's such a different place and has a beautiful outdoor area on the water. Definitely check it out!! Vicki and Michelle have been great so far to deal with!!

I second the Riviera, if you do a Friday or a Sunday, and especially if you do an off month, you can get a great deal there! And they are awesome to work with
