I'm on a pretty tight budget...FH is pretty much paying for the wedding and i'm trying to look for a place that can give us a good deal. So far we found one place with the day before easter...should we just stick with that or see if we can find something lower then $85 pp. is that even possible?

Check out Timber Point Country Club and West Sayville Country Club - they're prices are very reasonable!

Check our Harbor Links in Port Washington. If you do it on a Sunday, you are the only event and can have it anytime you want.

When we looked at Chateau La Mer they gave us very low rates...I would def meet with them.

I was booked at Leonard's before we were forced to postpone and changed our venue to Russo's the second time (just to start fresh)
and I believe they were giving me 65pp for filling a hole in their book- meaning they chose a date not us.
It was an amazing deal!!!

I would check out the fox hollow, chateau briand, milleridge inn, chateau le mer (kind of far).

def look into friday nights and sundays and look from November through april

check out:
crest hollow
swam club
jericho terrace
westbury manor

they should be more in the $65 pp price range

i got quotes at 3 of these 4 places for november 2011 (but i booked january 2010)

crest hollow - friday $75pp, sunday $69pp
swan club - friday $60pp (didnt ask about sunday because we already booked our date)
jericho terrace - $90pp (including VH with extra hour)

I just saw an ad for The Sands at Lido Beach - that they have a package for $11,000. I have no idea what it includes or what the place is like, but the pics on line look nice.
