Still No Proofs, Should I or shouldn't I

I've e-mailed my photographer several times (they are family friends) asking about the status...all I get is 'soon'. Should I send another e-mail letting them know we have a time frame of moving out of state and that I kind of wanted to pick out the album before we left????

Why don't you call and say that instead of an email? It is easier to ignore emails and write 'soon'. Maybe hearing your voice will let them know you seriouly want your pictures!

I wouldn't think it should take so long - we got married on 4/25 and I got my proofs on 5/5 - I would call them!

I would definiteley CALL!! That is not right that it is two months after your wedding and still no proofs, no matter who it is. Get your butt on the phone with them. And mention that your on a time frame too.

A combination of the above...call and tell them you want to be sure the proofs are ready before you leave in July - even if you aren't leaving until August.

OK OK....I called..he says they are swamped but they are putting ours up next. I told him the only reason I really want them is b/c we wanted to get the album set before we move down south and he said they'd do ours next!

So maybe next week I'll be getting a phone call!!!

definately call.... its only suppose to be 2 weeks to get the proofs..... the album takes another 3 months from when you order it....

I am sorry that you are dealing with this! It has been way too long. If you dont receive them within a few weeks you have to start to be really annoying - calling like everyday.

Umm, it's been 2 months. You should have your proofs. I think at this point, you should do what you need to do. Skip the email and make a phone call.

i would also call. i had mine in 6 weeks and i was told that was long . i would just tell him how you feel and that your not meaning to be pushy you just want to pick your album before you move

i would call and insist on a day, and get a little snotty, your approach is not forceful enough to be taking you seriously, its easy for them to just send a reply e-mail...

your proofs should have been well done by now, proofs can be done in a few hours once the lab gets them I would get on thier butts at once

By the end of next week you dont hear from them, I would go down there and ask in person. I am a face-to-face person when it comes to problems. I hope it doesnt come to this and you get them soon!
