I just had the same procedure done like two weeks ago on the back of my neck.... wasnt the stiches the weridest feeling in the world.... like it didnt hurt but i felt her tug on the string...
I am sure everything will be ok

omg im queezy just reading that
that everything is ok!!!! keep us updated.
ive had 7 or 8 biopsies done - when they shave the mole - so ive had a lot of experience with that so its not something new to me - but it still makes me nervous!! and they leave scars so of course that part is upsetting - but i was REALLY nervous knowing that i was going to need stitches on my back because i didnt know what to expect - thank god FH was able to come with me....he even watched the whole procedure! and then described it to me this morning he was a good nurse and cleaned and bandaged it for me! he even took a pic for me because its hard for me to see it i was worried about how big the scar is going to be now i just have to wait for the results....but doc thinks its fine - i have the type of moles that they call atypical, meaning that they have some of the same features of melanoma (uneven, irregular shape, dark color, raised) and because those types of moles are the kinds that can turn into melanoma over time and because of my family history and the fact that i have blonde hair/blue eyes/freckles i have to be really careful and that is why ive had so many removed - its kind of like getting them taking off before they can get the chance to turn into cancer.....so im pretty sure it will be okay - i just still hate waiting to hear back that everything is alright - makes me antsy!
im sure everything will be ok!!! i cant believe your FH watched it im sure the waiting part is the hardest

Dont worry, the stiches dont hurt when they take them out for u....u will feel a slight pinch if anything. For me the anticipation was worse!

Oh, wow, I would've never thought! All of your pictures of you are with dark hair. You look like a natural brunette. I can see you as a blond though, too. The dark hair brings out your blue eyes.

ohh no!! well at least there are a few of us - we aren't alone! sometimes i feel like im the only one who has to have these things done i agree - i rather have 5 stitches now then end up with cancer and need to have a huge chunk of my back removed! its so scary!

I have SO MANY beauty marks but so far have never had one removed. It was so embarassing the other day DH's grandmother was INSISTENT on removing my beauty mark next to my nose! She was SCRATCHING at it because she thought it was dirt, I was mortified!
