We are going to St.Lucia for our honeymoon in November but we have not booked our flight because it was too far away. Well we can now book the flight but its sooo expensive. Has anyone found flights with a good deal. We were going to fly into the bigger airport because we can get there in 4.5 hrs and not have to deal with a smaller plans since FH hates to fly.....but is anyone else having problems getting a good rate? I figure with fuel prices and everything else going on this was bound to happen.

i dont know whats considered a good flight. we just booked ours tonight and its pretty darn expensive but it was really our only option. we are on a tight timeline and are limited to specific days, and we are leaving from NY and flying back to a different state.

when FH and i booked our HM this summer it was too soon to book our airfare as well..we had to wait on it...we waited and our TA contacted us when it was ok to book and at that time she searched out the best deals for us and then we made all of this an official package...maybe it would be better to wait until it is available and see if it comes down...I am not sure, but it worked for us...good luck

if you are flying around thaksgiving its prob gonna be more $$ too cause of the holiday
