stockings or no stockings

I am going to a wedding this coming Saturday...and wearing a short dress. With it being Dec and FREEZING...would you wear stockings?? Most of my friends are wearing sandals without stockings...and I think it's crazy. What do you think?? I was thinking closed-toed shoes and stockings

i have the cutest pair of closed toe heals that I wear during the winter and I always wear them with stockings. I refuse to wear sandals during the winter cuz I ALWAYS have cold feet (I have a tendency to have cold feet even with my uggs on!!!) so sandals just dont work for me

stockings with closed toes shoes, otherwise i think it looks grannyish.

why dont you wear sheer black stockings? i love the way they look when youre all dolled up! they have so many diff ones with designs (over the top and simple ones) that can spice up your outfit (depending on if the dress even needs it)
