I am going to a wedding this coming Saturday...and wearing a short dress. With it being Dec and FREEZING...would you wear stockings?? Most of my friends are wearing sandals without stockings...and I think it's crazy. What do you think?? I was thinking closed-toed shoes and stockings

i kind of don't like wearing it for myself...
but if you wear sheer looking stockings i don't think its going to look that bad
If you are driving I would say go with no stockings and get in and out of the car fast but if you do decide on the stockings make sure they are sheer so they match your skin...you'll get the same effect but you'll be warmer.

i kind of don't like wearing it for myself...
I wouldnt wear stockings with sandals...but feel like it's too cold to wear sandals. I was planning to wear closed toed shoes and stockings...but now I feel like an old lady. LOL

i never never never wear stockings, whether its zero or 90 out, i just don't like them, so i would say no

so how is the dress is it short is it long???
surprisingly enough, in all the fashion mags i have been reading the trend this winter is chunky 'sandal' shoes with oqaque tights. Key word it chunky strappy heel, not a summery one, has to be 'winter' looking
99% of the time i wear stockings in the winter. and ALWAYS with closed toe shoes. 1% of the time i have a really cute pair of sandals that look good with my dress and then i bear the cold and go without stockings.....but ONLY if i know ill be inside most of the time. i wouldnt wear sandals to go bar hopping loll

I personally would never wear open toe sandals with stockings because I think it looks a little funny. and if you really think about it, stockings don't really keep your legs that much warmer! I say just ditch the stockings!![]()
I'd wear stockings but then again I am always freezing!
As long as you're not wearing sandals, stockings are fine..if they're skin tone alot of people won't notice you're even wearing them.

Unless they are pumps I wouldn't wear stockings, not peep toe either, they look funny.
