Yeah imagine!!!

I was on date with a gym teacher and he told me that he once dated a previous student.

Date over.

So, there was this guy... I knew him causally through other friends, and we decided we'd go on a date.

The week prior to the date, He calls me on Sunday, and says we'll make a date for Friday... I don't hear from him all week. I assume the date is off.

He calls me Friday morning AT. WORK.

Him: So, yeah, sorry I haven't called you... I am really excited for our date, but I'm coming from a real dark place. So, I didn't call you. I think you're the person to take me out of this dark place.

(Dude, is like, 35 at the time).

Me: Hey, it's just a FIRST date. It doesn't need to be this serious, but if you want to go, we'll go.

Him: OK, so I'll pick you up at 8.

Dude, gets lost... I wait like, an hour for him. We go to dinner, and then for drinks... because I am SO bored... I might as well get my drink on.. I have him take me home after like 3 hours cause I was so bored...dude had nothing to talk about except his inexperience with women... such a turn off ON A FIRST DATE.

I met Justin a week later!

These are so funny (and sad bc they're true)

I have two (both from when I was YOUNG):

1. I went out on a group date, I guess you would say when I was in 7th or 8th grade... Remember how guys at that age are pretty much the same size or smaller than girls? Well, he was a year younger to start with... We went to a movie, adn the WHOLE time, he was talking to his friend about how to go about putting his arm around me..... It was so awkward. We still 'dated' for a few days. I think he even sat on my lap a few times bc he was sooooooo skinny.... I don't even think we ever broke up though... just died out somehow...

2. I was around 14 or so and my friend worked with this guy at a camp and set us up. This was way before cell phones or anything like that, so I think she brought me a pic or something... Anyway, Steve and I talked on the phone for weeks and then finally made plans to get together. he comes to my house in his IROC-Z with 'THE ULTIMATE' painted on the bottom of the doors (whatever that's called -- my brother still jokes me about this guy and his car) and then we just proceed to drive around... No biggie, we finally stop somewhere to just 'talk' and he leans in... it's my first kiss, so I wasn't really sure what to do. So I just stuck my tongue in his mouth. and he dind't do anything!!!!!!!!! so we nervously laughed and I felt like an idiot... Fast forward to his driving me back home and he tries to kiss me again... So again, I stick my tongue in his mouth... NOTHING... SO now I feel like a complete idiot!!! AND the worst part is, I had the worst taste in my mouth from that... Now that I actually KNOW HOW to kiss, I really don't think I messed up.. I think he was just being a jerk... Or maybe he knew he had a bad-tasting mouth... so weird!!!

Then he and his friends stole money from me, but that's another story..........

OK so I met FH on JDate (like Match.com for Jews). But before FH there were a couple doozys. This one takes the cake.

This guy had been sending me messages and trying to IM me forEVER and I wasn't buying it. Then he CHANGED his screenname and profile pic so I didn't realize it was him at first...so I was talking to him and he seemed nice enough and we decided to text/talk on the phone a bit. At the time I was in the process of moving to NY from Toronto so I was still in Toronto. That same night that we were talking after he changed his SN he told me TOTALLY SERIOUSLY he wanted to drive to Toronto THAT NIGHT from NY (a 9 hour drive) to take me out. He was asking me where I saw 'us' in 5 years.....I was like ok dude this is done, especially when I realized it was the same guy as before...He was talking about his job as a volunteer EMT and how he carried a gun and stuff and it was ALL BULLSH!T!

for MONTHS after that he would try to text/IM me constantly! Telling me how depressed he was and I was the only one who understood him. WE SPOKE FOR ONE NIGHT! Then I found out one of my grad school friends knows him from back home in NJ and he is such a creeper he is like 26 and is one of those people who is 'in love' with girls constantly. arghhhh

This takes the cake. Just turned 21. My friend tried to set me up with some guy she knew of. We spoke on the phone a few times and decided that we'd all go out to a club one night (me, my friend, some of her friends, the guy, and one of his friends). We get to some club/lounge in the city and we all get a table. Me and the guy are talking--no chemistry at all. Horrible. So I go dance with my friends. A short while later I see the guy getting frisked by security. one of the security guys comes up to me and needs to talk to me about 'my bf'. Apparently he went through people's coats and bags at the club and tried to make out like a bandit. He had people's phones, wallets, the works. They also found drugs on him. Needless to say, I told him to lose my number.

Wow and i thought mine was bad!!

I had just broken up with my boyfriend for a long time, and a woman that I worked with tried to set me up with her husband's friend. He was a volunteer fireman and OBSESSED with the firehouse..mot to mention, the biggest dork I had ever seen in my life...

I was nice and went out to dinner with him, hoping that would be it...just dinner. After dinner, he drove me to the firehouse to show me the jaws of life, and proceeded to lecture me about the fire truck, the hoses, the ladder, the fire hydrants, the tools needed to open one, the fire proof material of the coats...etc.etc.etc.

I went to the bathroom and pinched my face all over, and pretended that I was getting hives from dinner. He took me home and I never called him again.

My friend set up me up with her friend. He took me to applebees. When the check came, we both looked at it..and he said 'So I guess, do you want to split it?' Ok we split it, whatever.
Next, we go to his house..well his basement of his parent's house. We wants to show me what a great dancer he is. OMG this guy was bustin a move to justin timberlake and michael jackson and he thought he was good. I tried to tell him he wasnt even dancing to the beat and he got pissed at me and was like 'everyone tells me what a good dancer I am' I guess everyone lies to him.
Then....he wanted to talk about life and spirituality. He was asking me all these spirtual questions, that were way too personal and creepy.

Worst date ever.

I was dating this guy for a short while. We were both drunk and go back to his house and hook up, whatever, and I fall asleep. I wake up the next morning and thought I was sweating. I'm like 'I never, ever sweat' plus it was cold in the room. I realized what it was. It was FKN PEE!! He peed in his sleep. I was done. I had to leave, it was truly a walk of shame for me.

Really nice guy but that was the limit for me. We are still friends till this day but that's waaaaay too gross for me and now his wife has to deal with it.

OK so this was bad...and I actually went on a second date with him. lol what was wrong with me???


I met this guy on match. He was from NJ and came to NY to meet me. I met him at the train. It was like Jan and freezing and he had a short sleeve shirt on..no jacket. W T F...so we spent the beginning of the date finding a CHEAP place for him to buy a jacket. He kept going on and on how NY is so expensive bla bla bla.

We go to this Italian restaurant by my house in Astoria. He looks at the menu and says it's too expensive. We walk out. How mortifying!!!!!!!!!!!!

We walk around in the cold and find a pizza place. Then he says the movies in NY are too expensive compared to where he lives in NJ. WOW So we go back to my apt instead to watch a movie. FIrst of all, how dumb am i bringing this dude home??? My roommates were there but still. DUMB A S S.

He was funny and made me laugh a lot, but CHEAP omggggg. I brought him to the train and he said come to NJ tomorrow...and I actually say yes and go.... The second date is worse..

So the second date I drove all the way out to bumble f u ck NJ. He made it like it was close to the city...nooooooo. It was SOUTH Jersey. So we go to a movie where he mentions how much cheaper it is here than NY.
Then he takes me all out for lunch.................................................................................................................

MCDONALDS!!!!!!! This man knows how to treat a lady huh? So I forget what I wanted but he sadi just get the double or something because it is ON THE DOLLAR MENU. lol

I love telling this story. He was such a werido...and by the end of the date he was way to pushy with me and I left and never called him back. I cant even believe I wasted my time and gas money for that second date to get pampered at McDonalds.

Hmm...the guy picked me up...with his friend in the car and then brought me to a pool hall, when I have no idea how to play pool so I just stood there and watched. He claimed he has just broken up with his GF now that I think back he was probably still with her which explains why he brought his friend..

I had just graduated law school and had started working for a large firm in Long Island. I was in my late 20s (26? 28?)

I met the guy over a 'law school' type message board, he was my age but currently a 2nd year law student at Hofstra and was about to start working at Sullivan & Cromwell as a summer associate. He emails me for about 2 weeks before our date, we click on almost every level - ethnicity, background, academics, town grew up in, etc. When scheduling our first date, he asks me to meet him in Greenwich Village on Friday night for dinner. He tells me he just moved in with 3 other law school students that are also working at the firm.

I drive in and no sooner than I meet him, he almost shouts in public, 'holy cow! you are so much hotter in person than those pics!!'. I wanted to crawl into a hole. He then takes me upstairs into this giant loft on West 10th Street and proceeds to give me a tour of the place, with every 5 minutes giving me 'oh and the Firm is paying me so much $$ to live here too! can you believe we get FREE WINE here??' He then sits me down on the couch and tries to make out with me, then I tell him 'thought we were doing dinner'.

Finally gets his fat butt off the couch and takes me to Jekyll and Hyde Restaurant nearby. As we walk out, he goes on about how 'smart' he is and how he cant wait to become the richest lawyer in the US His arrogance truly astounds me.

As we sit down at the restaurant and order from the menu, our waitress shows up and she's wearing a tight white skin/latex 'nurse' outfit that looks like its 3 sizes too small, with major cleavage showing. Without caring what I think, my date starts OGLING the waitress and then tells me, 'you know..you should have worn what SHE's WEARING to meet me tonight....I would love to see you wearing her outfit..'

I should have walked out right there but it gets better. When the check arrives, he then pulls the 'awww I forgot my credit card at home!! can you cover the tab and I pay you back?'Then he has the nerve to ask me if I had driven in (I had) and where I was parked. He then said 'lets find your car so you can drop me off..I refuse to pay any $$ to these homeless, terrorist cabbies..).

After that, I basically ran out of there and never talked to him again.

All i need to say is beer-goggles=what the FFFFF moments...

I ditched some dude at a restaurant once. With the check and all, and got up to go to the bathroom and never came back. He lacked class. I lacked ambition to stay there.

One tool took me out to some club and lended up getting pretty wasted and hooked up with some chick while I was getting us drinks... i ditched him and left him the bill..


Ummmmm I was a bad ditcher. I swear I can write a book about douche bags girls shouldn't date... it would be a million pages of reasons...

I guess mine are not that bad. One guy I met up with said we would meet at his place and then get something to eat. I was living in queens and he was in downtown Manhattan. I called when I got out of the train station and he said wait by the train i will meet you there . For some reason he didnt give me his address-so I didnt know where to go. I waited outside for 45 minutes. Finally, he comes down and takes me to his apartment and introduces me as his 'friend' to his doorman. i go into the apartment and it is amazingly clean. He has lit candles and it seems like he was cleaning before I arrived. He then said he was really tired and wanted to take a nap. he then lays down on his bed and asks me to take a nap with him. I say no and I tell him i'm going to leave which I'm about to do. Then he says no I should stay but maybe we can read to each other in bed? His main goal was for me to get into his bed with him. His phone then rings. he tells me to be quiet. It turns out his girlfriend is calling him and forgot something at the apartment when she left a few minutes ago. At this point I just leave
