When did you realize that you and DH would be together for a really loooong time?
For me it was about 3 months into our relationship and DH got very sick and had to go to the hospital. I was so scared and that is when I realized I could not live without him. I know it was very quick into our relationship, but we were also best friends for about 6 years before were started dating, so I loved him even before we dated.

It was at the mark of 3-4 weeks.
We said 'I Love You' to one another and we started to make plans during the holiday's on after graduation plans for me since he'd been out of school for a while and working and I started applying for jobs down on LI starting in January, so I knew I was moving to LI to be with him.

it was really early on for us..we had been friends for a long time, and had only been dating for 4 days. It was halloween, I had just turned 17, and he was 19. He came over, I was in pjs, and pigtails. My parents loved him right away, he just fit in our family. I felt comfortable around him I didnt feel the need to get all dolled up and try to impress him. He spent the night handing out candy to trick or treaters, and playing with the kids that came by...it was perfect. It was also the first time he told me he loved me...

Honestly, the first time I saw him. Our eyes met and we both just knew that something special was in store!!!!
A few weeks later we went on our 1st official date and it was as if we'd known each other for years. We just talked for awhile and I never wanted it to end. I realized how comfortable I was with him, how easy it was to be with him, I didn't have to 'put myself out there' for him; and how I'd never had that with anyone else.
We both felt it but it took a few weeks to say those 3 little words. Once we did it wasn't a matter of 'if' we got engaged, it was more like 'when' we get engaged.

For Me it wAS ..............We were dating for a year now and we went to Las Vegas For The First Time. While having Fun There My Father Passed Away...We come back to New York....he attended the funeral and the Church And Then Went To the Cemetary. He pAid his Respect And then I knew That He Is taking me seriously. And After That Here we Are Married And All........

About a month I would say.....He earned his first brownie point when he called me the day after our first date though!

When he drove my parents new car off the lot because my father was not familiar with console driving. That may have been one of the few times they had a conversation before my father got sick

When were dating for about 6 months and he took to Washington State to met his Parents! I knew that i wasn't just some girl!!! I was the one and only!!!!

i knew before we started dating. i was in a relationship with someone else when i met him and i found myself trying to find DH and his friends when i would go out. i loved his company, i loved his personality, i loved everything about him. i think we both knew we were going to be something special. so i dumped my baggage (aka ex-bf) and we started dating almost immediately after that. almost 7 yrs later we are still together.

I kind of always knew, but on our 4th date, I looked at him and saw my future in his eyes. I fell in love with him that day.

Pretty much the same story as me! I was in a serious relationship when DH & I met at college. I started to realize the more I was around him that my ex was not the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I broke it off with my ex on Memorial day weekend. DH & I started dating 7/2 & almost 6 years later, we are still together & about to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! We knew we had something special right from the beginning. I still believe it helped that he was around as a friend while I was dating my ex. He could see the things that made me mad & knew what he needed to do in order to keep me on his arm I would not change a thing!

I knew there was something special about him from the moment we met, there was something there that I never experienced before and I just knew no matter what -he was someone that I could spend my life with.
