The Chair of the Sociology Dept at Wagner College...
I'm an adjunct Anthro professor there and I sent him and email (plus put a letter in his box) saying that was going to have spine surgery in late january, so I wouldn't be able to teach in Spring. I didn't hear anything from him, so I had the secretary ask him if he got my email...he replies to her (not me) simply saying yes, he got my email and letter...he hasn't said anything at all to me, not even a good luck or get well soon, or hope you feel better, absolutely nothing. I'm not looking for sympathy or sorrow, but after you've worked someplace for 5 years, you'd expect just a word of encouragement...I've been sad for at least a week so far because of this.

FMIL. i love her to death and she is soooooo good to me and FH but she's almost always either in a bad mood or has a puss on her face...even at the holidays.

Definitely my manager... he's my age so he feels this need to prove to everyone that he's a manager and it really irks me!!! He reprimands you for doing one thing, and then does that same thing the next day and he plays favorites with people in the office.

FH was my grinch because he used to have crappy Christmases before I (a christmas freak) came along. Now hes really warming up to Christmas.

This year I feel like the Grinch! Iam not into it this year at all, Me and FH are not exchanging gifts, and i hate it! But there will be plenty more that I can make up for it. I guess it depresses me.

YAY lol...well i did decorate the x-mas tree all by myself...but i am not a person who likes christmas music, and going too nuts with decorations...i do like x-mas as in the spending time with family and giving gifts...and even things i do like and enjoy, i am just different and ppl seem to not like the fact that i dont react the same way...i am not a person who will act overly excited and be like OMG this is wonderful YAY, and sometimes it annoys me bc its like i can be happy or excited about something without having to jump and scream or act a specific way, let me be me and realize not everybody has to react the way you do.
This year i am worst bc i just can't go nuts with gifts, i really can't at all...and fh will call me to ask me if i want this or that so he can tell others to buy it for me and its like i dont want alot of things or expensive things if i dont have alot to give, and everyone keeps going nuts about x-mas and asking me 'OMG what are you getting this one or that one' and its like no matter how many times i say 'I CANT DO MUCH' i am not thinking about any of this nobody understands. So while everyone is spending alot on x-mas, i am actually saving the money to put towards the wedding...i already have my bonus and last paycheck put aside to go this week to give to my rh
OK vent over lol i had to let it out, all this has been on my mind
