I have been together with FH for 12 years now. I broke up with him 4 years into our relationship only for one year. I think it was the best thing that we did to help our relationship. We went through the bad times early and now each day it gets better and better! I love him!

We broke up for approximately 2-3 hours after we were dating for like a little over 1 year....but we made up and have been strong ever since!!

No. And I can't see it happening unless its for good... We get along very well & rarely fight (thank god!) when we do fight we work it out pretty quickly.

Once about 6 months after we first dated for about a week... Only because I knew that it was it and we were meant to be together... and I was feeling pressured (not by him) but by myself that I was like OH MY GOD... THIS IS IT... I need to run and make sure of it... But after I thought about it... I was like WHAT AM I DOING!!!!!!!!

So... He says I broke up with him... I say I just took a week off to think.

I am so happy with my decision, I could never picture my life without him... hehehehhe

Let me also add... the week that we 'broke up' we hung out every day anyway... so I guess it really doesn't count hahahhaha.

i'm on the same page as u jenmike331!! we've been together for almost 9 years, since i was 17, him 20, and let me tell you those outside presure sources s*ck!! but i think it makes the relationship stronger and each time we broke up i learned something new about myself.

We almost did right before we got engaged....I wasn't sure where were going last march....we had a big fight and but then i went to his house and we made up!!!! I can't picture my life without him. He is my everything....he's stuck with me forever!!!!

nope, we fight like cats and dogs, been through ALOT in the past 8 years, but never bad enough to call off the relationship. thats why i know we're ready for marraige! we'll stick it through

Nope - not once ... we each threatened each other while fighting, but never did it. The first 3 yrs were very tough for us .... but the past 2 yrs have been reallly good! I cant believe wev'e been together for 5 yrs!!! I love him!

We broke up TWICE!

A little background... FH and I knew each other for a long time before hooking up. We finally got together as a couple and 6 months later found out we were going to be pregnant. We were both COMPLETELY freaked out by how quickly things were happening. Soooo... I asked for a break - it was only a couple of weeks before we were back together, but a break up nonetheless!

THEN WE MOVED IN TOGETHER. EXACTLY 4 days before I gave birth to our oldest child. Exactly 2 days before I started labor. Next we brought a baby home to our apartment and proceeded to get no sleep for the next several months. Then I went back to work - and then I quit because the commute was too much. And then he lost his job. So we were 2 brand new parents, living with someone for the very first time and with NO MONEY. Wanna talk stress?

Anyway.... it got to us. We had a screaming match. I packed up the baby and my stuff and moved home with my mom. My mom tried to convince me to go back to Rob and I wanted NO part of it. A week later I ran into him when he was over visiting the baby. He cried and told me how much he missed me and the baby. We decided to work things out. AND... 5 years later we are getting married!
