I stopped taking my pills mid-month because I was feeling very anxious and my appetite was out of control. Anyway, we had 'fun' but were careful. I'm ususally very on schedule with my cycle and now I'm six days late I didn't tell DH because he'd FREAK!! I seriously seriously doubt I'm PG but I'm going to take a test to find out for sure. Could it be the stopping in between cycles that is freaking out my period? I haven't taken the pill in years so I have no idea what the little nuances are with them.

Stopping your pills mid month will most likely cause your period to be off schedule. But if you want to know for sure - take a preg test!

Its most likely coming off the pill that is messing you up. It takes your body a little whie to adjust to being ON and to being OFF the pill. But yeah, I agree, take a pregnancy test of you want to make sure.

Usually when you stop taking the pill in between cycles you get your period right away..

that's what I was going to say. Happens to me all the time.
Which coudl mean that you got pregnant while ON the pill...
Have you taken a test yet?

try not to worry about that now. Hopefully this is just a screwy delay in your cycle as a result of stopping the pill so suddenly mid-cycle. As we all know, strange, unexplained things can sometimes happen that aren't 'textbook' when it comes to BC on a whole

Ahhh, no not PG. Called OBGYN and definitely they said it's because I stopped mid-cycle. So that's good to know. I wasn't quite ready for baby # 2....whewwhh!!
