storing asparagus?

What's the best way to store this? In foil so it doesn't get all mushy?

I don't know either. I find that I have to make it soon after I buy it. I'd love to hear if anyone has any suggestions as well.

we keep ours in a rubberband standing straight up in a bowl of cold water. I have left it on the counter like that for at least 3 days.

it doesn't need to be refrigerated?

I just keep it in the fridge in a plastic bag. It keeps for days.

I put it in about 2 inches of water in a plastic cup in the fridge for a couple of days.
