straight hair woes...

Original post by luckiestelc

i'm having a hair dilemma.

i have to wear my hair down (well half-up/half-down) since i look a little scary with it up (the FH even asked if i would wear it down), but my hair is super straight and would never hold a curl all day.

i can't find any pictures of STRAIGHT hair half up.

please help!!!!!

I have VERYYYY straight hair. It takes a lot more my hair to hold a curl or anything, but I've had it done both ways. I've had straight half-up half-down styles and ones where they curl it. A good stylist can do just about anything!

this is why i chopped all my hair off, i was tired of dealing it. Plus the longer it gets the less body it has and starts looking bad, you have nice thick hair so thats a good thing. But with shorter hair i FINALLY have volume in my hair and finally looks stylish lol before it was just long stringy hair

Thanks for the compliment Denise but I'm chopping it as soon as I'm back in NY for thanksgiving. I don't trust the people out here to cut my hair -- one bad haircut 6 years ago and I wait until I'm back in NY and see my regular stylist. I'm chopping off 8 inches -- just trying to pass the time until then

you're welcome. I understand the need to cut it even if you have great hair, sometimes you just want a change. I get bored too and feel like ahhh i need to do something different whether its color my hair or cut it. But wow thats alot, i am sure it will look great plus it feels so nice when its cut and done perfectly hahaha. You'll have to post pics
