Has anyone received any strange gifts as of yet? I received a $50 Martha Stewart book. Its entitled something along the lines of 'Martha Stewart: A guide to good housekeeping' or something similar to that. I was actually kind of offended, but I thought it was a little strange!
Any others besides 15 million picutre frames??
FYI disclaimer - its not that I'm ungrateful, I am just wondering what others have been given!

we got a dish that says HAPPY BIRTHDAY around the rim with candles inbetween each letter. when i saw it i was wondering if she thought it was my birthday.. not my engangement

Yeah FH and I just decided it would have to become our official plate for birthday cakes... our kids will get sick of seeing it
apparently she is from syracuse and its a tradition to give a piece of china... so it was a thoughtful gift.. but strange

When my mom told my grandpa (who is 87 years old) that Joe & I got engaged and we were having an e-party, he asked, 'What should I buy for the e-party?' So, my mom said, 'Some people get gift certificates to BBB or they get things for a house, but usually people give money.' So my grandpa said, 'Really? Shouldn't I buy Meagan a blouse?' My mom said, 'A blouse!? Dad, it's an e-party, for Meagan and Joe.' My grandpa said, 'I really thought I was supposed to get Meagan a blouse.'
My poor 87-year-old grandpa! I was laughing hysterically when my mom told me. So, I might be getting a blouse for my engagement!

Oh my gosh, my mom gave me like 15 picture frames for Christmas!! I am not kidding! i thought she was losing her mind, and that I was going to have to put her in the home sooner than later!
At first it was funny, then it got real scary!

At first it was funny, then it got real scary!
FH's sister couldnt come to the eparty because she lives far away so she sent a thing of 4 frames and then a clock/frame thing too. So that was 5 there...then we had a small eparty with only 42 ppl and we got another 5-6 frames....its a little crazy, but it was good because we got a lot of money too but it is all appreciated!!

FH and I didn't really get any strange gifts. The majority of our guest gave us $ which was great!! But we did get 7 different types of toasting flutes!!! Unfortunately I had already bought toasting flutes!!!
