Strange one – but does anyone else keep oil in the fridge?
Okay, I’m sure I probably seem like a freak, but I have been keeping all of my oils (olive, canola, sesame) in the fridge for a while now. Dr. Andrew Weil recommends we all do so because oils oxidize over time when they’re stored out of a cold place. Sorry, I know this is not as much fun as talking about ketchup and syrup, but I am curious.

I dont...only the used oil I do. I do keep my oil in a cool dark place which I hope helps keep it longer. Although I have to say, I dont keep oil for years and years. Maybe oil that old will go bad.

I keep my oilve oil in the fridge. I want to keep that as fresh as possible because its so $$$$

No, unless the bottle says to refrigerate it.
I keep my flour in the freezer, though!!

I don't think olive oil should go in the fridge! I did that once and it came out looking like there wad some frost bite happening. With little white frozed bits inside the bottle. Not pretty!
I took it out and it went tbakc to normal after an hour or so. Nothign happended to the taste but still, it was weird.

I keep batteries in the fridge and my extra film in my camera case but I do keep garlic in the freezer.
