Soooo... somehow I nominated myself to put on a play in my school. I'm going to try to do High School Musical - problem is that I think *if* we can get the rights to the script, it's going to take a loooong time. I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone out there have the script? I'm dying over here - I dont want to disappoint my kids but I'm in way over my head.

This may or may not work....but Airport Playhouse it Oakdale(?) is putting on HSM as one of their shows this year, maybe you can email or call them and see if they can help you out.
I found this too online, it looks like you can request the rights of the script for the show they toured around the country with, it says it was about 70 minutes geared for Middle School age kids
PS 29 in queens is doing it too.....one of my students brought it in like 2 weeks ago.....maybe you can contact them and have them send you a copy or you can go there and photocopy it?

Thanks so much girls! I contacted MTI a few days ago but since we dont have an account it's going to take a while to set one up. I'm going to try to get that as fast as possible!
