strangest person on your invite list

okay...so im sure we all have some strange requests for inviting ppl (i.e, a random guest, a friend of FMIL you never met, etc etc)

so lets post them and then just together

ill start....

my mom invited her DENTAL HYGENIST!!! W.T.F!!!

actually...i take that back...the hygenist actually invited herself (which is amazingly tacky and rude and im still in over this)...but my mom didnt say no. (they've known eachother over 20 years, send eachother holiday cards, etc...but still!)

since then ive told my mom no more conversations about the wedding with her friends!!!!

lol thats crazy! My mom will probably invite her GYN.....

but she works for them... a little more understandable!!! Maybe she'll whiten your teeth for the wedding? haha

theres no one weird like a hygenist lol but FMIL keeps adding all these distant family members...she will give me their nicknames and when i try to get their real names for invites shes like i dont know waht it is....like why are we inviting ppl if we dont even know their names?!?!

My FH is a meter reader for Con Ed. Some of his customers have tried inviting themselves. Yes I know you've read their meters for years- but no I dont want them at my wedding!!! I did tell him to tell these people if they want to come to the church they can. But I am not inviting these random people to my wedding.
One women wanted me to come over for coffee so she can meet me!!!!!! What - and give her blessing?????

Some of these are hilarious! I have no one funny. I haven't met some of FH's dad's side of the family b/c they haven't seen each other in years. Not strange, they're just strangers to me.

See and I find having nuns at a family function normal. My aunt is a nun so we've always had them at our functions and they party more than anyone else.....

Probably my IT guy at work. He has already assumed he's invited but he always hooks me up with free stuff- burnt DVDs, HD cables, a cable for my printer, even a new computer tower. So fine, you can come! LOL!

I dont think there is anyone strange on my invite... my mom is only inviting her friends and a few friends from work but I know them all cause shes been there forever...

my dad is retired and doesnt keep in touch with work people anymore...

My GYN invited herself and than told me that I shouldn't worry about getting her a Kosher meal that she will bring her own sandwiches....I am sure Papa Ruggiero will love that. I am going to try to not send her an invite, but she will be delivering my baby one day and I don't want her to withhold the drugs because I didn't invite her. LOL

I don't think we have any strange invites...mostly because I told my parents and FIL's to chill out because we want a small wedding.

What's funny is my dental hygenist will actually be at the wedding, but she is a close family friend who just happens to take care of our teeth

Wel you better laugh at me because I'm inviting myself to your wedding.. just kidding, My hair stylist invited herself and my FIL's invited their neighbor who we have only seen like twice.
