STRANGEST WEDDING YOU EVER WENT TO???

I was thinking about the weddings we have been to and one was really strange! How about you? Has anyone ever been to a wedding that kind of made you wonder what they were thinking?


DH's cousins got married on jet skis in Freeport. They pulled up to this house on one of the canals that a minister performed the service then when that was done they went across the canal on their jet skis to some restaurant for a reception. The bride wore a wet suit with a veil and braids in her hair. They had a cash bar at the wedding -even for soda, and never told anyone. So wedding guys all had to leave to go find ATM during the reception!! Then the grooms ex girlfriend was there making a big fuss that she had paid for the flowers and the vases to hold them. They were 4 lavendar roses in a jelly type jar. The whole thing was extremely strange.

That does sound strange! I've been to a couple weddings that were unique- my roommate from college got married on a steamboat that left out of Portsmouth, NH. The food was steamers, corn on the cob and chicken.

I went to another wedding in Freeport- it was supposed to be outside on a deck on the water, but it was cold, so my friends got married in the living room of the minister's house. There were only about ten of us there, I think, and after dinner we went out for seafood together. It was fun and very intimate. I had fun at both.

that is odd. but hey whatever makes your boat float, right?
